We have found that practicing compound movements and using irregular weights, such as kettlebells, sandbags, clubbells and ropes best develops peoples strength and agility to meet the demands of their lifestyle. In using these weights, we make sure people have a basis of body weight proficiency and learn the correct techniques to train injury-free.

We practice our variation of qi gong each morning get our bodies and minds flowing. Practicing these movements prevents injuries caused by overuse, stagnation or muscular imbalances.

Having fun with children is a great way to effortlessly exercise. Play lets you enjoy the process of developing your agility, while exploring your environment from the liberating perspective of a child. We play tag, fitness-based games and water sports in the natural scenery of Virginia. Families bonding through shared experiences, especially without distractions, is particular powerful.

We like running on irregular fields or forested trails to train the smaller, stabilizing muscles. After workouts, we enjoy taking an "ice bath" in flowing, spring-fed creeks or rivers. Spending time in natural settings is remarkably restorative.

We enjoy being intentional and contemplative while engaging in  tasks or recreational activities. We have found that infusing gratitude and inspiration into our daily life is more effective than setting aside time to feel enlightened.

We use prayer and various emotional release techniques (such as clearing statements, tapping, affirmations) to replace negative emotions or thought patterns with those that serve us better. These practices can be adapted for compatibility with any spirituality, religion, or faith.
