The TEDS Foundation originally helped me fully recover from a stress fracture in my foot. This year, they helped me deal with depression, lack of motivation and feeling like I was in a slump. TEDS helped me regain my zest and excitement for life! Anytime I am down, I can count on TEDS!

Sean is constantly evolving the wellness game and it allows his clients to take their game to new heights. I still use his very special skills which are definitely a secret weapon.”

The connected Athlete Training Experience

Morning Connectivity Warmup Exercises

Every morning, we use a variety of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual practices to maximize their learning experience and athletic performance of guests. These programs are based on a variety of ancient and newly-discovered techniques.

Breath is Life

How you breathe constantly affects your ability to perform despite physical stress, such as endurance feats or high altitude competitions. We practice nose-only breathing and apply specific breathing drills to optimize oxygen utilization, reduce stress, prevent dehydration, and enhance the connection between your mental will and your bodily output.

Fasting to Develop Athletic Discipline

Often athletes eat certain foods or remain full constantly to block emotions they do not want to feel. Although many foods are medicinal, depending on foods for comfort does not resolve weaknesses that will compromise your performance during intense competitions. To mentally prime ourselves to deliver results and physically enhance our nutrient absorption, we vary the interval, timing and selection of foods we eat each day. This intermittent fasting and intentional eating practice supports transformation into an athlete that is holistically connected.

Farm-to-Table Foods

From May through October, we grow chemical-free vegetables, greens, and herbs in permaculture raised beds. Throughout the year, guests eat all-organic meals with farm-to-table ingredients, as seasonally available.

Bio-individualized Diets for Performance

Each persons' situations and goals are different. Their diets need to reflect their individual needs. We assess and equip everyone who attends how to design their own unique eating program.

A Legacy of Athletic Achievement

Previous program participants have been top college recruits, college players-of-the-year, Olympic athletes, World Record-holders and Major League Baseball All-Stars. No matter your level, the programs will expand your abilities and vision for the future of your athletic participation. During the weekends, you will be empowered to become a whole and complete athlete.

Participate in Sustainable Farming

The farm has chickens, ducks, turkeys, a donkey, pigs and dairy cows. We rotate the animals across the 50 cleared acres and into silvopasture paddocks to enhance the health and carbon-carrying capacity of the soil. Guests are welcome to help feed the animals the organic feed and organic food scraps that supplement the animals’ grazing.

The dairy cows are milked by hand twice daily. If guests would like to observe or learn how to milk a cow, they are welcome to join in a milking session at the cow stanchion.

An Adventure Awaits

From rejuvenating hikes in nature, to mountain biking on logging roads in mountains, the programs provide adventure, recreation, training and rehabilitation, to meet every athlete's needs.

Modern Accommodations on the Farm

A steel-framed 6-bedroom, 3-story guest house is situated at one end of a North-South aligned river valley. The third floor of this building serves as a workout and game room.

Eight single bedroom, 2-bathroom cabins rim the crest of a hill overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. Each of the cabins houses two beds.
