So many sources of inspiration are available to us. Finding a set of practices that enhance all aspect of your life sounds too good to be true. Finding a set of practices that are transferable to the set of beliefs that you already hold dear sounds even better.
At TEDS, we have found that the following practices help us achieve deeper levels of spiritual connection and engagement.
"I spent way too many hours watching motivational videos on YouTube, when I could have just sought the guidance of the TEDS approach and address the problems that I was coping with and no longer be distracted by false visions for my life."
- Ciara Mulcahy
"No" is one of the most common words spoken in any language. However, focusing too much on what you do not want drains energy from the outcomes you are striving towards.
The power of your imagination is that the situations you visualize prime your body and mind to adapt to those scenarios. Whether fear or hope inspire your daydreams, your body and mind will prepare to protect you from that future you anticipate.
If you think you are lying to yourself in saying something positive, you will reject that positive thought entirely. It often helps to acknowledge the evidence for a potential problem before assuring yourself.
We encourage people to invest the time in finding out what they want out of their lives. If people know what they want and why they want it, they are much more able to endure discomfort and overcome their challenges.
